Saturday was the annual event known as "The Melton Ride". Unsurprisingly this is when the lads from Notts (and further afield) come over to Melton for a Saturday afternoon ride and night out on the town after.

After the big annual trip riding down hill in foreign lands it was back to pedalling the hardtail on familiar trails on Saturday....

We're back from the big trip of the year: a 10 dayer in the mountain bike Mecca of Whistler. It was a hectic but brilliant trip leaving bikes and bodies battered! Let me see what I can remember?

It was a last minute decision for me to join last night's ride. The full Melton posse of five headed out with a couple of threatening black clouds in the sky but the potential rain never came.
