Time for riding has been tight of late and I felt the urgent need to turn a pedal so it was time for a quick blast on the tarmac on Wednesday. It was just my usual little lap and I was only out for an hour and ten minutes so there's not really anything to report other than this just to make sure it is registered in this blog.

Saw one roadie who smiled and nodded "hello". He must be new to it? ;-)

Only my second time out on the road bike this year! Show's what a dry year it's been so far?

There were a lot of big travel bikes out on Saturday. The approaching foreign holidays mean shakedown rides are being had and new purchases are being made!

On Saturday Medium Steve and I met up at Edale for a lap of the Jacob's Ladder route. It had been raining overnight but there was no precipitation as we set off heading upwards towards the low clouds we could see up on the hills. Back to proper British summer weather!

Ricky, Steve and I met up for the usual Thursday evening local one last night. It was a perfect evening for cycling: dry and sunny but not too warm.
