It had been far too long since I've ridden on Cannock Chase so on Sunday Ricky and I headed over there to ride Follow the Dog and The Monkey Trail. I had sent an email round with an open invite to the lads but only Medium Steve was there waiting for us in the car park. I received a couple of messages saying some people would come "if they didn't go out on their road bikes"! What is the world coming to when burying yourself on the tarmac of Nottinghamshire is more attractive than having fun on quality singletrack? Come on! Do I need to name and shame? ;-)

Over the weekend four of us competed in the second round of the UK Gravity Enduro Series. Shakey, Mad Dog, Phil & I headed up to Kielder on Friday afternoon. As we drove up the weather got wetter. It was looking like we might be in for a repeat of the conditions we had in round 1? After a quiet night in the pub we headed to Kielder Castle to sign on only to find things somewhat disorganised.
