I've been doing this diary for nearly four months now and during that time I hadn't ridden in one of my favourite riding areas: The Peak District. Pretty bad considering this web site focuses on that area quite a bit! The Easter bank holiday weekend was time to put that right and as the weather forecast continued to be good Stu and I decided to do the Doctor's Gate & Cut Gate Path route. A proper epic to get us back into riding in The Peak!

Baz & Stu decided a change of scenery would be good and joined us for a local foray on Thursday evening. Ricky, Choc & I met them in the pub car park before we headed out of town via the Country Park.

Five of us met up for Tuesday evening's ride. Choc, Ricky, Steve, Tom and I headed south out of town to do a variation on the Burrough Hill route.

I promised to take my nephews down to Chicksands a while ago and this was the first opportunity. I hadn't been for ages and was keen to see the changes to the site since the lease was renewed a year or so ago.
