On Friday 27th May Big E, Susan, Liz and I flew to Malaga for a holiday with Sierra Cycling in Spain. This was the third time Liz and I have stayed with Sierra and we had the usual plan of boys play on bikes while girls tan and chill etc before beers for all each evening :-) Sierra have the perfect setup for this with accomodation yards from the beach and some great trails in the hills behind Fuengirola and beyond.

I was hoping maybe a Scottish mountain bike publication might publish the name of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and end the super-injunction against this blog but no news yet.... ;) Last night Ricky, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and I went for another local jaunt. The quick downpours of rain earlier in the week had not made a diffrence to the trails. All were still dry, hard and dusty.

On Saturday I headed over to Sheldon's an hour before I needed to pick him up so that we could fettle the gears on his Meta 55. He hadn't done any XC riding for months and had just got the bike back together with a new drivechain.

Before I report on last night's ride I have to tell you that I can no longer mention a certain rider in this blog. He is known for having many "hang ups" and has developed a new one about being mentioned here. He therefore won't be mentioned or pictured again.

Last night it was just Steve and I for the Tuesday evening bash. We were both rushing for the meet time and both grabbed our hardtails to ride.
